Return policy overview
At Burg Compounds, we take product integrity, quality, and documentation seriously. Because our products are laboratory research compounds, we follow strict return guidelines to help maintain product safety and traceability.
Once a product has left our control, we cannot guarantee its storage or handling conditions. For this reason, returned products cannot be restocked or resold.
Return eligibility
Return requests for unopened products may be considered within 7 days of confirmed delivery, subject to the following requirements:
- The product must remain unopened and in its original sealed packaging.
- The original product label and lot number must be intact and clearly identifiable.
- The return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
- The return must be approved by Burg Compounds before the item is shipped back.
Returns are evaluated individually and may be declined when the product does not meet these requirements, subject to applicable law.
Non-returnable items
Due to the nature of laboratory research compounds, certain products are not eligible for standard returns.
- Products that have been opened, unsealed, or used.
- Temperature-sensitive products requiring controlled storage conditions.
- Products with missing, damaged, or altered lot identification labels.
- Products returned without prior authorization.
These restrictions do not eliminate any remedies required by applicable law or our policies for incorrect, damaged, or misidentified products.
Incorrect or damaged orders
If you receive an incorrect or damaged product, please contact us at hello@burgcompounds.com within 7 days of delivery.
To help us review your request, please provide:
- Your order number.
- The product name and lot number.
- A description of the issue.
- Clear photographs showing the product, packaging, and any visible damage.
After reviewing the issue, we will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
Please retain the original packaging and affected product until your claim has been reviewed. Do not return damaged products without receiving instructions from our team.
Product documentation discrepancies
We aim to provide accurate product identification and supporting documentation.
If the lot number or product information you receive does not match the corresponding Certificate of Analysis (COA) provided for that product, please contact us with your order details and supporting photographs or documentation.
Confirmed discrepancies will be resolved through a replacement or refund.
How to request a return
To request a return, email hello@burgcompounds.com with your order number, the product you wish to return, and the reason for your request.
Our team will review your request and provide instructions if the return is approved.
Please do not send products back without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Refunds and processing times
Once a refund has been approved, it will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, additional time may be required for the funds to appear in your account.
Original shipping charges are refundable when the return results from an error made by Burg Compounds or when otherwise required by applicable law.
For discretionary returns, original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.
Order cancellations
Orders may be canceled before they have been shipped.
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at hello@burgcompounds.com and include your order number.
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible, and the return eligibility requirements outlined above will apply.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you experience an issue with your order, billing, or payment, we encourage you to contact us first so we have an opportunity to resolve the matter.

Nothing in this policy limits your legal rights to dispute eligible transactions through your financial institution.
