Who we are
These terms govern your use of this website and every order placed through it. “We”, “us” and “Burg Compounds” mean Burg Compounds LLC, 1497 79th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida, hello@burgcompounds.com. “You” means the person placing an order or using the site, and the institution or business on whose behalf they act.
Laboratory research use only
All compounds sold on this site are supplied for laboratory research and analytical testing use only. They are not drugs, foods, supplements or cosmetics. They are not intended for use in or on humans or animals, and not for diagnostic use.
Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old. You must buy on behalf of a laboratory, institution or business, and you must be qualified to handle laboratory chemicals under the laws that apply to you. We may ask for proof of your institution or business and may decline or cancel any order.
Account and buyer certification
To order you create an account and, at checkout, give the name of your institution or business and your laboratory or department. You must tick the research-use certification before an order can be placed:
I certify that these compounds are ordered strictly for laboratory research and analytical testing and will not be used in humans or animals or for any diagnostic purpose.
Making a false certification is a breach of these terms. We may cancel the order, close the account, and report the matter to the authorities where the law allows.
Products and documentation
- Descriptions state chemical attributes only (class, form, identifiers, storage conditions). We do not give advice on use.
- Identifiers and analytical data are shown only when supported by supplier or independent-laboratory documents. Where a certificate of analysis is shown, it is matched to the lot and carries its own report number.
- Where a certificate is not yet posted, the product page says so.
- We may update documents or withdraw a lot at any time.
Orders, prices and payment
- An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it or send a written acceptance. We may decline any order.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and tax unless stated. Prices and availability can change without notice.
- Payment is taken at checkout through WooCommerce. You authorize the charge, and you confirm that you may use the payment method.
- If we cancel an order we refund the amount paid for it.
- Tax: automatic
Shipping and risk
Shipping terms are in the Shipping policy. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier receives the parcel. You are responsible for import, export and licensing requirements at the destination.
Returns
Returns and refunds follow the Returns & Refunds Policy. Opened or temperature-sensitive items cannot be returned except as that policy states.
Storage and handling
Storage conditions on each product page are provided for chemical stability only. You are responsible for storing and handling products under your laboratory’s own safety rules.
Warranty disclaimer
Products are sold “as is” except for the stated identity and purity on the matching certificate of analysis for the lot. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim every other warranty, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You will defend and compensate us for losses arising from your use of products outside these terms, your false certification, or your breach of the law.
Intellectual property
The site, logo, text and images belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.
Site use
You will not misuse the site, attempt to access it without permission, or place automated orders. We may suspend access.
Changes and notices
We may change these terms by posting a new version. Orders are governed by the terms in force when the order is placed. We contact you at the email on your account.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of FL. Disputes go to a Florida court. If a clause is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
At Burg Compounds, we want every transaction to be straightforward and transparent. If you experience an issue with your order, billing, or payment, we encourage you to contact us first so we have an opportunity to resolve the matter.
Resolving Payment Issues
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, please contact us at hello@burgcompounds.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will review your concerns and work toward a fair resolution in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy.
Chargebacks & Disputes
Burg Compounds reserves the right to review, investigate, and respond to chargebacks or payment disputes submitted through banks, credit card companies, or payment processors.
When responding to a dispute, we may provide relevant transaction documentation, including order confirmations, payment records, shipping information, delivery confirmation, and customer communications.
Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions
We take payment security seriously. Orders suspected of fraudulent activity may be canceled or placed on hold pending verification. Knowingly submitting false or misleading payment disputes may result in restrictions on future purchases, where permitted by law.
Customer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your legal right to dispute unauthorized transactions, billing errors, undelivered merchandise, or other eligible charges through your financial institution. All disputes remain subject to applicable consumer protection laws and payment processor regulations.
